Basic Function of the Position: EPTS
Support Society Nepal is seeking experienced and qualified applicants for the full-time contracted position of Education Program and Training Specialist (EPTS)
Under the direct supervision of the president of the organization, the EPTS will be responsible for providing academic and technical support to the Education Mobilizers (EMs) to provide quality education to the early grade learners under the Education for Self-Reliant Individual Project, Phase One (ESRI Project 2018/19- 2033/34) on the best practices in holistic approaches to strengthening family and community support for quality school education and livelihood. The EPTS will also facilitate trainings, mentoring, and coaching in order to guide Education Mobilizers’ relationship building with early grade learners and communities. The EPTS will be required to travel regularly to support teaching and training events in the ESRI learning centers, provide direct support to the work partners and address other Support Society Nepal needs.

Minimum Qualification Required for the Position of EPTS
- University Bachelor’s in Education or related field (Master’s in Education or related field will be preferred)
- Work experience that includes Teaching, designing and facilitating training/workshops, teacher training, education project design, social mobilization and management.
- Experience in providing field-based support to individuals working on community development projects.
- Experience on supporting community-based development projects that follow a Theory of Change.
- A strong knowledge of Support Society Nepal, its mission, and its approach to development. Highly organized, analytical, and professional, with an ability to successfully network on the behalf of the organization.
- Must meet Support Society security clearance requirements
