Basic Function of the Position: EM

Support Society Nepal is seeking experienced and qualified applicants for the part time contracted position of Education Mobilizer (EM)

Under the direct supervision of the president of the organization, the EPTS and the CCEM, the EM will be responsible for providing quality education to the early grade learners under the Education for Self-Reliant Individual Project, Phase One (ESRI Project 2018/19- 2033/34) on the best practices on developing early grade literacy and numeracy ; developing the self-reliant skills right from the beginning of the early grade learners and strengthening family and community support for quality school education and livelihood. The EM will be required to teach the early grade learners in the ESRI learning centres; provide direct support to the work partners and address the other Support Society Nepal needs.

Minimum Qualification Required for the Position of EM

• • Intermediate/University Bachelor’s in Education or related field
  • Work experience in the field of early grade teaching and material
  • A strong knowledge of Support Society Nepal, its mission, and its approach to development. Highly organized, analytical, and professional, with an ability to successfully network on the behalf of the
  • Must meet Support Society security clearance
